Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, but experience may offset.
• Experience as machinist in paper mill roll repair preferred.
• Experience on equipment other than paper mill rolls recommended.
• Operational experience on similar industrial equipment valued.
• Trainee considered if requirements meet general responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain large, medium and small lathes, mills, drills, and vertical lathes.
• Perform close tolerance work meeting Voith quality standards.
• Work well with others as part of a team.
• Display a positive attitude in a shop environment and maintain attendance reliability.
• Be willing to work overtime when required and to learn additional tasks as needed.
• Adhere to safety practices and company quality controls.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely to produce quality rolls.
• Support continuous process improvement and uphold Voith standards.
