Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a manufacturing associate to produce quality parts at our Wisconsin facility. You will train to meet strict quality standards, follow safety rules, and work with routers and schedules to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.

The role requires reading gauges, operating lathes, and contributing to a safe, efficient production cell. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with strong arithmetic and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong math skills with basic arithmetic and unit conversion.
• Ability to read routers and production schedules for specifications.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Create and ensure a quality product throughout the process.
• Participate in training to meet Tenneco standards and customer requirements.
• Follow safety policies to prevent injury and maintain a safe environment.
• Read and interpret production specs, adjust as required.
• Operate and monitor equipment and inspection tools.
• Utilize data to identify scrap and nonconforming parts for root cause analysis.
