Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a machinist for 3rd shift to operate a machining center and manage workflow. The role requires strong machining experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints to meet drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include setup, program download/edit, tooling understanding, and maintaining a premium work cell. Export controls may apply, and prior experience with Fanuc/Siemens controls is valued.

Qualifications

• Machining experience and practices are required.
• Good understanding of GD&T and blueprints is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and measure to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Plan machining and sequencing using assets and equipment.
• Understand GD&T requirements for processes.
• Set up machines and manage program downloads/edits.
• Navigate CNC control interfaces (Fanuc/Siemens) to optimize operations.
• Know turning and drilling tools and tooling knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work cell.
