Role: Operates and maintains saturant towers for coloring and insulating fibrous materials, ensuring efficient and quality production.

Responsibilities:

• Load reels of wire onto payoff and take-up stands.
• Lace wire over pulleys into a compound receptacle, through a squeegee, oven, and to the take-up.
• Fill receptacle with saturant as per job requirements.
• Set controllers for required temperatures.
• Start machine, monitor wire, and adjust to ensure quality.
• Mix materials as specified.
• Maintain quality standards and operate machines at specified speeds.
• Handle all activities on the assigned machine during the shift.
• Set up machines for production cycles and adjust settings.
• Identify and fix issues during operation.
• Check output for errors or flaws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
