3rd Shift Machine Operator - Tower Operator

TE Wire & Cable LLC, located in Saddle Brook, NJ, is seeking a Tower Operator to join our team. We are a leader in the industry, known for high-quality thermocouple wire & cable products with short lead times and competitive prices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain saturant towers for coloring and insulating fibrous materials.
• Load reels of wire onto payoff stands and take-up reels.
• Lace wire over pulleys into a compound receptacle, through an oven, and to the take-up.
• Fill receptacles with specified saturant types.
• Set controllers for required temperatures.
• Start machines, monitor wire passing through squeegees, and make adjustments for quality.
• Mix materials as per specifications.
• Maintain quality standards and operate machines at specified speeds.
• Set up machines for production cycles and control machine settings.
• Identify and fix issues during shifts.
• Inspect output for defects or mistakes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of process equipment, tooling, and safety procedures.
• Understanding of production and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Adherence to safety regulations.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

Shift

3rd shift: Monday – Friday.
