Job summary

Camfil is seeking a Machine Operator in the United States to work with manual and semi-automated machinery, ensuring equipment performance and meeting specifications. The role covers 6S compliance, data entry, and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with Windows-based software, and basic MS Office/MRP skills. Overtime may be required and safety procedures are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in manufacturing and machine operation.
• Cleanroom environment experience preferred (food/pharma/medical device).
• Skilled with measurement tools used in related industries.
• 2 years in a technical discipline or 3–5 years operating equipment with Windows-based software.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, an MRP system and email.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components for defects and meet requirements.
• Clean excess debris and outside substances on filters as needed.
• Maintain equipment daily and set up machines for shifts.
• Read, interpret and follow detailed test procedures and drawings.
• Report issues and document downtime; participate in 6S.
• Follow safety policies and work collaboratively with engineers and supervisors.
