Packaging Corporation of America in Omaha, NE is seeking a dedicated worker for a 3rd shift position from 10 PM to 6 AM. You will contribute to the continuous operation of the corrugator, operate stacker machines and strapper, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role offers competitive pay with a starting rate of $20.05 per hour plus a 5% shift differential, increasing after probation. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift, overtime hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, stooping.
• Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $20.05 per hour + 5% shift differential
• After successfully completing 60-day probationary period, wage will increase to $23.00 - $26.00 per hour + 5% shift differential.
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: 1 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
• Paid Holidays.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
