Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.
  • Must be willing to work overtime on short notice, including weekends
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy Forklift traffic.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Works as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order.
  • Prepares the stencil that stamps the product with identification.
  • Cleans and oils the machine daily.
  • Orders pallets from the Forklift Driver, according to the need expressed on the schedule.
  • Responsible for having pallets at the machine for the finished products
  • Assists with running orders when the machine is ready by watching the run continue smoothly and without problem. If a problem arises, such as machine failure, product quality is not to standard, or a shortage of paper, this individual notifies the operator of the problem.
  • Palletizes the product according to the shop card and/or in a manner suitable for shipping.
  • May be required to feed the machine on occasion.
  • Responsible for adhering to the ISO procedures and taking direction from the operator.
  • Works with various production machines and basic tools such as hammer and knife.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 + year of experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary for position: $24.51 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
