MAU Workforce Solutions in Duncan, SC is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator to support AFL Telecommunications operations. This role involves reading set-up sheets, assembling wire strands, and inspecting finished products, with a 3rd shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Qualified applicants have a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year in machine operation, ability to read micrometers and calipers, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of machine operator or machine set-up preferred.
• Knowledge of how to read micrometers and calipers preferred.
• Willing and available to work a 12-hour rotating shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand set-up sheet.
• Complete set-up of strander.
• Strand steel and alloy wires.
• Change out bobbins.
• Complete level lay of finished cable.
• Inspect and document quality results.
• Complete oracle computer transactions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
