Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to support Mac & Cheese production. The role involves setting up Lyco and Blentech lines, adjusting equipment, and ensuring smooth operation in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining weights, transferring products, and strict adherence to GMP and safety procedures. Prior manufacturing experience and forklift certification are a plus; candidates must lift up to 50 lbs and follow SQF guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus.
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room, makes adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.
• Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing.
• Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
