Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to support Mac & Cheese production in Sulphur Springs, TX. You will set up production equipment, run lines, and ensure weights meet specifications while maintaining GMP standards.

The role requires 2+ years of food manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift/pallet jack certification is a plus. You will work in a fast-paced facility and report safety concerns as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience.
• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus.
• Ability to apply good judgement and following written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights clearly.
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room; adjusts equipment as needed.
• Adheres to GMP during production, sanitation, and handling materials.
• Maintains and adjusts equipment to control weights per package or case.
• Meets production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to designated locations.
• Follows safety requirements including PPE as prescribed.
• Performs CCP checks as needed by location in plant.
• Reports all food safety and human safety concerns to supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room, makes adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.
• Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing.
• Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required
• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus
• Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE.
