Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Assembly Technician I for the 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 7:30 am, Mon-Fri). You will assemble Low Voltage Assemblies, manage materials, perform electrical testing, and prepare finished products for shipment as part of a collaborative team.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, follow SOPs, maintain safety standards, and support Lean Line activities. A high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of manufacturing and tooling experience

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
Minimum 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
No relocation assistance; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and meet daily production goals.
Use fixtures, gauges, and tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
Follow SOPs, method sheets, and supervisor instructions.
Prepare finished assemblies for shipment or storage and conduct quality inspections.
