Job summary

O'Neal Steel LLC is hiring a 3rd shift Loader for our Ambridge, PA facility. The role loads/unloads material in a warehouse using forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and other equipment, following established procedures and safety rules.

Expect 3rd shift hours (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6am) with overtime as needed; background check and drug test required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including overhead crane, forklift, stacker and related machinery.
• Ensure load balancing and compliance with DOT weight regulations for legal and over-dimensional loads.
• Verify accuracy of material, quantity, packaging and special instructions for each order shipped.
• Perform loading duties 70% of the time or greater.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with safety procedures.
