Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a dedicated team member for our Ottumwa, IA facility in the Supply Chain, Procurement & Transportation domain. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, food safety, and quality programs within the pant facility, with responsibilities that include auditing receiving, counting livestock, and supporting livestock management across shifts.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lead and motivate employees.

Qualifications

• Requires problem solving and strong communication.
• Experience in quality assurance, auditing or production is helpful.
• Understanding of USDA requirements (HACCP) desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and audit the receiving and unloading of livestock at the docks.
• Count and sort livestock after unloading.
• Cover for hourly management in Livestock as needed across shifts.
