Job summary

Dyno Nobel is hiring for a Lean Cell / Manufacturing Operator in Simsbury, CT. You will assemble and package Electronic Detonators, solder harness wires, verify counts, and ensure quality while reducing waste and maintaining safety standards.

You will work 3rd shift with rotating weekends, read and write English, perform basic math, and participate in in-house soldering certification. A strong team culture and safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sit for majority of the work day.
• Willing to work 3rd shift and rotate weekends.
• Ability to read and write English, perform basic math.
• Must be 21+ and pass ATF background check.
• Willing to obtain in-house soldering certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package Electronic Detonators.
• Solder wires to electronic harnesses.
• Verify counts and package per specs.
• Inspect materials used in assembly.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and traceability.
• Perform tooling changes and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Reconcile discrepancies using SAP.
• Communicate with MQEs and Maintenance for issues.
