Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our client’s Menomonee Falls facility. This hands-on leadership role guides a maintenance team, troubleshoots PLC-controlled equipment, and ensures uptime on production lines.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to mentor others. High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. Minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Training or mentoring maintenance technicians is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor maintenance technicians on the shift.
• Train team members on maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist with installation of new machinery and modifications to existing equipment.
• Participate in machine setups and product changeovers.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Maintain equipment history records and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Work with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts when necessary.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Support production needs while minimizing operational disruptions.
