Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is hiring for a PRN third shift position in our clinical laboratory operations. You will help ensure specimens are properly processed and stored, maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, any related specimen handling experience, and strong analytical and written communication skills. This role supports patient care and requires adherence to privacy and security policies, with benefits including health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
