Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated team member to ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored to support patient care.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in specimen collection or processing, and strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. You’ll work in a laboratory with PPE requirements on a 3rd shift, with hours that vary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (phones, computers, centrifuges, alarms).

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a laboratory with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
