Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Memphis, TN is seeking a laboratory support professional for the 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am). This full-time role processes, stores, and routes patient specimens, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and PHI confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (phones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms).

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Identify when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a laboratory with PPE requirements and PHI handling.
• Support safety, compliance, and quality control.
