Job summary

Mom's Meals is seeking a 3rd Shift Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound operations and lead inventory integrity initiatives. The role manages warehouse staff for an 8-hour shift, with 30% forklift activity, reporting to the Director – Supply Chain.

Hours are 8:00pm - 4:00am. Employment contingent on background check and drug screen where permitted by law, with a base salary plus a 10% monthly bonus target.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in Inventory & Warehouse environment.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally and influence decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clear reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound flow to ensure inventory integrity and data capture.
• Identify root causes of data gaps and coordinate across functions.
• Analyze facility inventory to optimize storage location.
• Develop and maintain a 5S program for the facility.
• Oversee inbound/outbound carriers to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.
• Staffing and scheduling for the shift; oversee forklift operations.
• Ensure FEFO & FIFO are followed.
• Hire, train, and manage shift employees; cross-train forklift drivers.
• Support safety initiatives and pre-shift inspections.
• Establish a cadence of continuous improvement with key functions.

The 3rd Shift Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor oversees inbound & outbound operations and leads key aspects of our inventory integrity initiatives. This position reports to the Director – Supply Chain and is responsible for all warehouse & inventory employees and operations for an 8-hour shift. This is a hands-on position, and the expectation is that 30% of the work week will be on a forklift. This position has a base salary plus 10% monthly bonus target.

Hours: 8:00pm - 4:00am

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Manage both the physical and system transaction aspects of the inbound & outbound flow of product to ensure inventory integrity and all required information is captured prior to further movement throughout the supply chain.
• Identify root causes of data integrity gaps and work cross-functionally to address.
• Analyze facility inventory to ensure inventory is stored in the most efficient location.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a strong 5S program for all internal and external areas of the facility that are the responsibility of Supply Chain.
• Manage all inbound & outbound carriers to ensure temperatures comply with our requirements and are recorded, paperwork is complete, seals are in place, with all discrepancies being immediately communicated to appropriate functions.
• Responsible for staffing & scheduling respective shifts appropriately.
• Ensure FEFO & FIFO processes are followed.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and managing the performance of employees assigned to respective shift.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a forklift driver cross-training program that ensures all forklift drivers can cover all aspects of pallet and product movement.
• Support and ensure full compliance with all applicable safety initiatives in the facility, including but not limited to pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Develop and implement a structured, recurring, continuous improvement communication process with other key functions – Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, Maintenance, and Kitchen operations.
• Develop and implement a manage to metrics culture that ensures continuous improvement, lower costs, and increased efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in an Inventory & Warehouse environment.
• WMS experience.
• Must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally in a collaborative manner.
• Must be able to influence others using data and experience, all while respecting and supporting the priorities and objectives of other functions.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and able to develop clear and concise spreadsheets, documents, and reports.
• Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a food production environment
• 3 years warehouse/inventory experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
