Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a 3rd Shift Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound operations and lead inventory integrity initiatives. Reports to the Director – Supply Chain and will manage warehouse and inventory staff for an 8-hour shift.

Expected 30% of the week on a forklift with a base salary plus a 10% monthly bonus target. Hours are 8:00pm - 4:00am, with pre-employment drug screen and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

• WMS experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to develop clear spreadsheets/reports.
• English fluency (read/write/speak).
• Experience in a food production environment.
• 3 years warehouse/inventory experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound flow to ensure inventory integrity and proper data capture.
• Identify root causes of data integrity gaps and work cross-functionally to address them.
• Analyze facility inventory to optimize storage locations and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a strong 5S program for facility areas.
• Manage inbound/outbound carriers to ensure temp compliance, proper paperwork, and clear communication of discrepancies.
• Staff and schedule respective shifts; ensure coverage.
• Ensure FEFO and FIFO processes are followed.
• Hire, onboard, and manage performance of shift personnel.
• Develop forklift driver cross-training to cover all pallet/product movements.
• Support safety initiatives, including pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Establish and maintain a structured continuous improvement communication process with key functions.
• Cultivate a metrics-driven culture to drive cost reductions and efficiency.

3rd Shift Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor

The 3rd Shift Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor oversees inbound & outbound operations and leads key aspects of our inventory integrity initiatives. This position reports to the Director – Supply Chain and is responsible for all warehouse & inventory employees and operations for an 8-hour shift. This is a hands-on position, and the expectation is that 30% of the work week will be on a forklift. This position has a base salary plus 10% monthly bonus target.

Hours: 8:00pm - 4:00am

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

• Manage both the physical and system transaction aspects of the inbound & outbound flow of product to ensure inventory integrity and all required information is captured prior to further movement throughout the supply chain.
• Identify root causes of data integrity gaps and work cross-functionally to address.
• Analyze facility inventory to ensure inventory is stored in the most efficient location.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a strong 5S program for all internal and external areas of the facility that are the responsibility of Supply Chain.
• Manage all inbound & outbound carriers to ensure temperatures comply with our requirements and are recorded, paperwork is complete, seals are in place, with all discrepancies being immediately communicated to appropriate functions.
• Responsible for staffing & scheduling respective shifts appropriately.
• Ensure FEFO & FIFO processes are followed.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and managing the performance of employees assigned to respective shift.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a forklift driver cross-training program that ensures all forklift drivers can cover all aspects of pallet and product movement.
• Support and ensure full compliance with all applicable safety initiatives in the facility, including but not limited to pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Develop and implement a structured, recurring, continuous improvement communication process with other key functions – Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, Maintenance, and Kitchen operations.
• Develop and implement a manage to metrics culture that ensures continuous improvement, lower costs, and increased efficiency.

• Experience working in an Inventory & Warehouse environment.
• WMS experience.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and able to develop clear and concise spreadsheets, documents, and reports.
