Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Inventory Control lead to oversee daily operations in our Florence, KY facility. The role requires managing inventory accuracy, coordinating with receiving, shipping, and stockroom processes, and ensuring timely material flow for production. Working hours are Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring performance of the department and assurance of optimum performance.
• Assist in drive for shortest processing time possible on all received material and continually improve the processing time performance.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and visual aids are maintained and up to date.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with problem solving related to schedules, equipment, documentation, and personnel.
• Interface with departmental supervisors, engineering, program management, and other plant functions to support operations.
• Ensure accuracy of record keeping for shipping, receiving, and stockroom documents.
• Verify aging of material in receiving and shipping locations and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts for manufacturing.
• Stock material promptly and accurately; eliminate errors affecting quality, budget, and efficiency.
• Identify performance issues and strengths for team members to Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies; comply with procedures; may perform other duties as assigned.
