Responsibilities

• Monitor department performance and implement revisions to procedures as needed.
• Drive for shortest processing time on all material and suggest recovery methods as necessary.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working order and up to date.
• Provide frequent feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with scheduling, equipment, documentation, and personnel issues.
• Interface with departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, program management and other plant operations functions.
• Maintain accurate records for shipping, receiving and stockroom documents.
• Verify aging of material in receiving and shipping locations and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts for manufacturing.
• Ensure materials are stocked promptly and accurately.
• Eliminate errors impacting quality, budget and department efficiency.
• Identify performance issues and strengths for Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and company security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
