Job summary

JPS Composite Materials in Anderson, South Carolina, is seeking a Finishing Range Operator to join our production team. You will collaborate with associates to run the finishing range, set controls for tension, speed, and temperature, and ensure smooth operation of the Range Machine.

The role emphasizes identifying maintenance issues, delegating tasks to utilities to maximize product quality and efficiency, and accurately recording production data for each finishing order.

• Fill out production data for each finishing order with accuracy.

Job description

The Range Operator will work in full cooperation with all associates and will be responsible for all operations on the Finishing Range. Set control for tension, speed and temperature for production run within the Range Machine, detect maintenance problems and react accordingly, delegate duties to utilities to obtain the best product, quality and efficiency, fill out all required production data for each finishing order.
