Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for the 3rd shift. You'll set up and troubleshoot machines, perform mold changes, monitor processes, and keep production running safely and efficiently with robotics and automation.

This hands-on role requires a high school diploma or GED and hands-on injection molding experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on injection molding processing experience required.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Perform mold and job changeovers.
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
• Make process adjustments within established parameters.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
• Complete required production and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve issues.
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
