Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring for an Injection Molding Color Change Operator in the Murrysville, PA area. The role operates on the 3rd shift (Sunday–Friday morning) with a pay rate of $25.02/hr plus shift differential at the Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities include processing components, coordinating workflow, operating forklifts, handling color changes and startup of molding machines, and ensuring quality through monitoring and paperwork. Prior industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 months of previous industrial manufacturing or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes various component parts.
• Coordinate workflow and material handling within work cell.
• Use process support monitoring equipment.
• Operate fork trucks.
• Performs color changes and/or startups of injection molding machines.
• Perform process control, start-up, process monitoring, press / mold maintenance.
• Prepare raw materials including mixing for processing.
• Start-up / operate part picker.
• Run polycarbonate work cells requiring trimming and notching.
• Run lens work cell with inspection and cutting operations.
• Visually inspects, trims excess material and maintains relevant paperwork.
