Job summary

Mercury Plastics in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and will follow training parameters to operate molding equipment, load and unload parts, monitor cycle times, inspect quality, and pack finished parts. This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hand-eye coordination and intermediate math skills are required.
• Must be able to identify quality variances visually.

Responsibilities

• Learn the process to operate injection molding machines
• Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machine
• Unload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycle
• Maintain cycle times
• Visually inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards
• Pack finished parts for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
