Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in New Mexico, Santa Teresa, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and facilities equipment on the warehouse floor.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and technical certification. The successful candidate will read blueprints, operate equipment safely, and support Lean initiatives while working nights from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• HS Diploma or GED with a technical certificate or degree.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Perform facilities maintenance activities on the warehouse floor.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and repair equipment timely.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors as needed and supervise them when required.
• Adhere to health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives; wear PPE as required.
