Job summary

TriMas Packaging LLC in Auburn, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) to maintain production machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This on-site role supports molding machines, punch presses, and automated assembly equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience, plus a 2-year technical degree.

Qualifications

• Strong experience applying electrical, mechanical, and electronic principles to test, maintain, repair, and improve equipment.
• Experience supporting hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems including molding machines and presses.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Work with minimal supervision and support building systems maintenance as needed.
