Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced steel-processing environment. Location: Huger, SC. Schedule: Third Shift.

Pay: $31.80/hour + $0.60/hour shift differential. The technician will work with conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and rotating equipment, diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and perform welding and fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in steel processing, metal manufacturing, stamping, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and power transmission equipment.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, chains, sprockets, couplings, and rotating equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, rollers, and mechanical components.
• Perform motor, pump, and gearbox alignment.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication.
• Read mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and help improve reliability.
• Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
