Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a maintenance mechanic for the 3rd shift at the Wyoming, MI location. You’ll perform building maintenance, repair hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, conveyors, cranes and hi‑speed doors, and support safety practices to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a Powered Industrial Vehicle certification, plus 3 years of machine repair experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required.
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Previous experience in forklift repair.
• You’ll be asked to work in high places, in cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where needed.
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check.
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment.
• Work with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, conveyors, cranes and doors.
• Follow safety standards and keep the parts room organized.
