Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Wayland, MI is hiring a Maintenance Tech for the 3rd shift to support the production team by troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment. You’ll add value by applying pipe fitting, machine repair, welding and electrical skills to keep lines running and safe.

We expect forklift certification, the ability to read blueprints, and compliance with GMP/HACCP and food safety programs. Weekend work is required with shift differential offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment.
• Skill set includes pipe fitting, machine repair, welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Forklift operator certification is required or must be obtained.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must comply with GMP/HACCP and food safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant equipment.
• Demonstrate/use pipe fitting skills and welding.
• Perform basic to intermediate electrical and mechanical work.
• Operate forklift and assist with maintenance checks.
• Follow GMP, HACCP and LOTO procedures; weekend work required.
