Job summary
Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Junior Technician for a 3rd shift Industrial Maintenance role at a Indianapolis facility. You will support plant operations with equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and project execution to ensure reliability, safety, quality and performance.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and vocational maintenance training or 2+ years of related experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Self-starter with ability to take direction and ownership of tasks.
- Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance or 2+ years of related experience.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and assist senior techs with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Assist with installation and modification of equipment.
- Execute routine maintenance during scheduled downtime.
- Maintain accurate records in the maintenance system (CMMS).
