Job summary

Daifuku is a nation’s leading independent, U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician III to perform a variety of maintenance activities in Hobart, Indiana. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting machinery, and hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, saws, and welding equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required
• 2-year trade school certification and/or 5 years industrial electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs in accordance with Safety and OSHA requirements
• Completes and documents work orders in CMMS promptly
• Troubleshoots electrical breakdowns and makes repairs
• Installs new or purchased equipment
• Assists in inspections of critical building systems and environmental compliance
• On-call for emergency repairs
