A leading staffing firm is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 3rd-shift position focused on maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of production equipment. Ideal candidates will have hands-on troubleshooting experience, the ability to repair production systems, and knowledge of 24vdc control circuits. The successful applicant will work directly on machinery, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support production goals. Qualifications

• Knowledge of P&ID drawings and ability to use them for troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both digital and analog instrumentation.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is an advantage.

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Location: Ovid, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Direct Hire

Benefits: Competitive benefits package, PTO, Paid Holidays

Shift: 3rd 10pm - 6am (off 4 days once every two weeks, working 7 days a week for 14 days straight then 4 days off)

Overview:

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 3rd-shift position focused on maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting and repairing production systems, installing pumps and valves, and maintaining control circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold food safety standards and work safely in an organized manner.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, equipment, utilities, physical plant, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant production systems, sanitary pumps, and valves.
• Maintain and repair 24vdc control circuits.
• Complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Chemical Safety Procedures.
• Perform all duties necessary to ensure safe and high‑quality production.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Plant Managers to meet annual goals and complete special projects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Knowledge of P&ID drawings in an industrial environment and ability to use them for troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot digital and analog instrumentation and analog controlled process valving.
• Knowledge of 24vdc control circuits and ability to troubleshoot using electrical drawings and testing equipment.
• Experience with PLC‑controlled equipment and interpreting control logic.
• Experience with high‑pressure boiler systems, wastewater treatment, or ammonia refrigeration is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of personal computer‑based equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
