Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Industrial Cleaner in Troy, MO for a 3rd shift (8:00pm-6:30am, Mon-Thurs). The role offers wage of $17.00 per hour with potential for hire by the client.

Responsibilities include cleaning and production support, following work instructions, safety protocols, 5S standards, documenting checklists, and contributing to continuous improvement ideas. Prior manufacturing or janitorial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
• Reliable and punctual work habits.
• Previous industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or basic visual work systems preferred.
• Experience working in automotive manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning and production support tasks according to Work Instructions (WIS).
• Follow safety requirements including PPE, JHA guidance, and Lockout/Tagout awareness.
• Report hazards, unsafe acts, or equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and support 5S standards.
• Follow direction from the Team Leader and Group Leader and ask questions when uncertain.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and correctly after training.
• Meet quality and productivity expectations for assigned tasks.
• Participate in shift huddles and safety discussions.
• Complete documentation and checklists as required.
• Support team success by helping others when assigned work is complete.
• Engage in continuous improvement ideas using SAVE concepts (Safer, Faster, Easier).
• Participate in training and skills development activities.
• Practice good attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain positive communication and teamwork.
