Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle position available in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 2nd shift role with a wage of $18.00 per hour and potential for hire.

Responsibilities include inspecting pallets, repairing/refurbishing pallets, breaking down damaged pallets for recycling, and operating a forklift to move materials. Candidates should have forklift experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a non-climate-controlled

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Regularly grasp, handle, and manipulate plastic pallets and materials.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.

• Operate a forklift to transport pallets, materials, and finished products.

• Perform manual handling of pallets, including stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support recycling, housekeeping, and general production tasks in the rework department.
