Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking an on-site Manufacturing/Production worker in Pacific, MO. The role pays $24 per hour and schedules Monday through Thursday from 3:55pm to 4:05am. You will perform quality checks, monitor machinery, and ensure accurate production and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to perform quality checks and operate production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Continually perform quality checks utilizing various gauges, recording/reporting results as required.
• Complete appropriate valve placement, keeping pace with production; machinery or manual placement as appropriate.
• Monitor all machinery, including hoppers, for safe, quality and efficient production.
• Assist in completing change overs of the filling area.
• Complete production paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure each can receives product fill weights within tolerances indicated by production instructions.
• Verify correct components are utilized in production.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on fill area equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace per 5S and SOPs.
• Verifying component codes against work orders.
• Acquire enough components to last until next break or end of production run.
• Ensure partial boxes or pallets are used first during a run.
• Prepare the area for new production by removing incorrect components first.
• Request additional components from material handlers as needed.
• Keep Domer and Tipper full and operating correctly.
• Operate lines at maximum performance with maintained quality standards.
• Report safety hazards, violations and procedural problems to team leaders.
