Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an Inbound Dock Supervisor to oversee dock operations and supervise dock associates. You will coordinate shipment routing, loading/unloading, and ensure P&D units close on schedule while meeting customer requests.

Responsible for inbound close-out, loss prevention, and safe, efficient dock operations. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of dock or leadership experience or completion of Southeast’s Management Training Program; third

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dock or leadership experience or completion of Southeast’s Management Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dock associates and coordinate dock/yard activities.
• Oversee routing of shipments and loading/unloading of freight.
• Ensure P&D units close at agreed times and handle special customer requests on time.
• Maintain inbound close-out for timeliness and loss prevention.
• Plan warehouse layout and storage areas with regard to turnover and load conditions.
• Determine work procedures, schedules, and expedite workflow; assign duties and monitor accuracy.
