Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader for the 3rd shift in Shelby, OH. You will support the supervisor, lead the team, assign tasks, and ensure quality and policy compliance in a factory setting.

You will train staff, document training, monitor KPIs, and help develop a safe, productive work culture while handling overtime and 6S activities. Prior leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Some post high school education preferred.
• Strong leadership and training capabilities with good problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve departmental goals.
• Direct and assign associates to meet department demands.
• Conduct effective training for new and current employees.
• Audit work for quality, accuracy and compliance with standard work.
• Support timekeeping in Kronos and assist supervisor in their absence.
