Job summary

MARATHON STAFFING GROUP is seeking a Sanitation Coordinator for the Cambridge facility to assist the Sanitation Supervisor in organizing and directing daily department activities on the 3rd shift.

The role requires knowledge of sanitation procedures and chemicals, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of sanitation procedures and tasks analysis, sanitation chemicals and their proper use.
• Able to perform all sanitation jobs.
• Able to work varied hours and overtime as required.
• Ability to handle/lift up to 35lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all plant areas including production, storage, office and bathroom areas and exterior areas including parking lots and determine sanitation needs.
• Distribute tools and personal protective equipment as needed.
• Directs Sanitor 1 and Sanitor 2 in their daily duties.
• May perform any assignments necessary in employee’s absence.
• Assume department responsibility in supervisor’s absence.

• Assume department responsibility in supervisor’s absence.
• Comply and enforce all plant safety rules and GMP’s.
• Keeps track of supply needs and usage.
• Report any discrepancies or incidents of any nature to the sanitation supervisor.

Additional Information

• 3rd shift: 8:00pm-4:30am with occasional overtime
