Job summary

Cheryl's in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a sanitation technician to clean and maintain all food production equipment across the production floor, packing room, oven room, warehouse, and Gift Production areas.

Responsibilities include achieving daily sanitation goals, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, disassembling and reassembling machinery, and working a night shift 8:00pm–4:30am on a 7-day rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year sanitation experience in a factory environment (preferred).
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Team oriented and able to work independently.
• Previous sanitation experience helpful but not required.

Job description

This position will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining all food production equipment. Surrounding areas will include the Production Floor, Packing Room, Oven Room, Warehouse, and Gift Production areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve daily Sanitation goals
• Maintain all equipment used by the Sanitation department.
• Work the last line of defense to eliminate all potential disease and illness from the production equipment, production areas, and other surrounding areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, report all safety issues to immediate supervisor, use safety gear as required.
• Disassemble, Clean, and reassemble machinery.
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

• 8:00pm- 4:30am, alternating 7 day schedule. Your scheduled days will include Saturday or Sunday. You will not work both days.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Education/ Experience: Prefer at least 1-year previous sanitation experience in a factory environment
