Job summary

MARATHON Staffing Group is seeking a capable Sanitation Supervisor to organize and direct the daily activities of the sanitation department on the 3rd shift in our MA facility. The role requires knowledge of sanitation procedures and the ability to supervise sanitation staff.

You will inspect plant areas, assign tasks, enforce GMPs, manage supplies, and report discrepancies. Overtime and varied hours are required, with lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all plant areas and determine sanitation needs.
• Distribute tools and personal protective equipment as needed.
• Direct Sanitor 1 and Sanitor 2 in their daily duties.
• May perform assignments in the supervisor's absence.
• Assume department responsibility in the supervisor's absence.
• Comply with all plant safety rules and GMPs.
• Keep track of supply needs and usage.
• Report discrepancies or incidents to the sanitation supervisor.

Job description

To assist Sanitation Supervisor in functions including organizing and directing the daily activities of the department.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of sanitation procedures and tasks analysis, sanitation chemicals and their proper use.
• Able to perform all sanitation jobs.
• Able to work varied hours and overtime as required.
• Ability to handle/lift up to 35lbs

Duties

• Inspect all plant areas including production, storage, office and bathroom areas and exterior areas including parking lots and determine sanitation needs.
• Distribute tools and personal protective equipment as needed.
• Directs Sanitor 1 and Sanitor 2 in their daily duties.
• May perform any assignments necessary in employee’s absence.
• Assume department responsibility in supervisor’s absence.
• Comply and enforce all plant safety rules and GMP’s.
• Keeps track of supply needs and usage.
• Report any discrepancies or incidents of any nature to the sanitation supervisor.

Additional Information

• 3rd shift: 8:00pm-4:30am with occasional overtime
