Job summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly and Packaging Associate for a 3rd shift contract in Fremont, CA. The role supports manufacturing of drug products in a GMP-regulated facility with duties ranging from equipment setup to changeovers and basic troubleshooting.

The position runs Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM with a 15% shift differential; training on the 2nd shift. Requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year GMP experience; pay up to $26.07/hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required; GMP/regulatory awareness preferred.
• Ability to work in small groups and stay organized.
• Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to read and follow written SOPs.
• Proven mathematical skills and basic computer operations (MS Office/Outlook).
• Experience in biotechnology/pharma industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine unit operations in Manufacturing Assembly and Packaging.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing procedures.
• Assist with setup of automated autoinjector and syringe assembly machines.
• Support changeovers and minor repairs of equipment.
• Document all work in batch records and logbooks.
• Assist with room cleaning, sanitization, and waste disposal.
• Ensure components and supplies are stocked before start of operations.
• Maintain production areas according to 5S standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and escalate unsafe conditions.
