Job summary

Winona Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a General Labor employee to manually fill cases, palletize finished product, and support the production line.

This night shift role offers a shift differential, 8-hour shifts, and opportunities for overtime; you will operate a pallet jack, perform basic quality checks, and maintain a clean, GMP-compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general labor in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Put finished products into designated corrugated boxes following all casing protocols.
• Check products for proper code date information.
• Palletize cases according to the required pallet configuration.
• Operate pallet jack (manual or electric) to move completed pallets of finished goods.
• Communicate with Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance on packaging issues.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with GMP standards.
• In case of downtime, work in other areas as directed by supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary

The General Labor employee manually fills cases with finished product, manually palletizes cases of finished product. Manually remove cheese from case and re-palletizing open blocks of cheese while maintaining line pace. Assist cheese cutter operator as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Put finished products into designated corrugated boxes following all casing protocols
2. Check products for proper code date information
3. Palletize cases according to the required pallet configuration
4. Operate pallet jack (either manual or electric) to move completed pallets of finished goods
5. Communicate with Supervisor and/or member of Quality Assurance team regarding any packaging issues
6. Maintain a clean work environment
7. Comply with GMP standards as set forth by company
8. In the event of downtime, work in other areas as directed by your supervisor
9. Follow all safety protocols
10. All other duties as assigned
