Job summary

Smalley is a global manufacturer of precision metal formed products, known for Spirolox retaining rings and Crest-to-Crest wave springs, with over 100 years of manufacturing excellence. This role focuses on gauge inventory control in a manufacturing setting, including identifying shortages, tracking gauges, and ensuring safe storage.

You will perform physical inventory counts, report shortages, and reorder stock as needed, contributing to efficient operations and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or related environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; read drawings, use hand and measuring tools.
• Understanding of Tool Room terminology.
• Pass basic math and English exam.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports shortages, damaged, or lost gauges
• Assigns or checks out gauges as needed, checks in and stores incoming gauges, and ensures all is stored safely
• Completes physical inventory counts, reports shortages, and reorders stock as needed

A reasonable estimate of the base hourly range for this role is $17.50 - $19.00 per hour USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. This role is bonus/and or incentive eligible.
