Job summary

Smalley in Lake Zurich, IL is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift. This full-time role offers $19.80-$22.00 per hour and requires inspecting products to standards, using precision measuring tools, and completing paperwork in a precise, orderly manner.

You will support calibration of inspection instruments, maintain documentation, and contribute to ensuring consistent product quality across manufacturing processes. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.
• Experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• Experience as a Quality Control Inspector preferred.
• Measuring parts with precision instruments and calibration of tools.
• Pass required on Inspection and English test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products following company and industry standards.
• Achieve inspection department targets.
• Utilize different measuring tools and perform calibration on inspection instruments.
• Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately following Smalley documentation practices.
• Provide material handling support or other required functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Knowledge/Expertise
• Measuring parts with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, etc.
• Checking and performing calibration on inspection instruments
• Pass required on Inspection and English test

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $19.80-$22.00 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
