Job summary

CJ Logistics America is hiring a Forklift Operator to support safe and efficient warehouse operations. You will operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, pick and move inventory, and help with loading, unloading, and staging shipments.

The role requires basic math, reading, and a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and safety. The position is a third-shift temporary assignment through February 5, 2027, with a base hourly wage of $20.28–$22.19 plus a $0.75 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow safety and operational standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to move, load, unload, pick, put away, and consolidate products.
• Perform manual case picking and use MHE like EPJ as needed for order fulfillment.
• Replenish inventory and maintain accurate placement.
• Prepare products for shipment including palletizing and wrapping.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on products and shipments.
• Audit outbound loads, resolve labeling discrepancies and shortages.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with team to meet daily productivity targets.
• Communicate defects or issues to management.
• Support continuous improvement culture.
