Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced forklift operator to safely operate and care for forklifts during shifts. You will inspect equipment, document maintenance needs, and ensure accurate stock locations in storage areas.

The role requires completing necessary paperwork, adhering to production schedules, and supporting the Shipping Lead Person as needed. Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift and follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to document inspections and reports accurately and timely.
• Experience in maintaining safe stock layouts and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklift safely and efficiently.
• Complete and document forklift inspections before each shift and on new forklifts.
• Stock locating and delivery to machines; maintain neat, safe storage areas.
• Assist and back up Shipping Lead Person; provide timely production reports.
