Job summary

BALDWIN RICHARDSON FOODS CO in Macedon, NY is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 3rd shift (12:00am – 8:30am, Monday–Friday). You will move ingredients, packaging and finished goods, load and unload trucks, and maintain safe, orderly storage in BRF facilities.

Candidates must have at least 1 year forklift experience, a forklift license, and English fluency. A $1.50 per hour shift differential applies to this shift, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new employees hired on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift license required; recertification through training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• English fluency to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to input information in English into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment following safety procedures.
• Load, unload, and move materials to storage locations and production areas.
• Inspect pallets and loads for safety and stability; report deficiencies.
• Follow SOPs, verify Bills of Lading and inventory in SAP.
• Maintain GMP and food safety standards and keep the work area clean.
